Eighteen soldiers were killed by four heavily armed terrorist/militant on September 18, 2016 in Uri area of Baramulla district (Indian-administered state of Jammu and Kashmir). Overall this Olympics was bad news for India. India was able to score only 2 medal (1 Silver and 1 Bronze) despite being a home of more than 1.3 billion people and tens of millions of sports fan.
